Apt. Thomas – (Picture of a sunshine) Dear Yvette & Julie. We have spent 9 days in this ‘room with a view’ and we enjoyed every day of it! Especially the balconies and the roof terrace offered comfortable atmosphere for my father (in his 80’s) and me. Walking to Sitges or the train station, downhill, is easy. After a first night uphill walk back, we realised that Yvette’s advice to take a taxi was coming from a wise woman, haha! Thanks for the good care, now we will return to Olanda. A very long overdue thank you for letting us stay in your lovely apartment – it was the perfect location with a real welcoming, relaxed feel to it, and of course the bonus of the roof terrace! We had a great holiday, even though we did not manage to eat at any of your recommended venues – they must have seen us coming, so we ended up at Gilda’s one night as they were still open and they were so lovely to us that we went there a lot and would recommend it for anyone wanting a simple, understandable menu. As we only had a week and so much to see we did not have the opportunity to cook, but having visited the market it was tempting and you seemed to have everything anyone could want for preparing even gourmet meals. As with everything else in the apartment we could tell that a lot of thought had gone into it. I am sure all your guests rave about your apartments – please add us to the list, highly recommended – Annie has put our comments on Trip Advisor, spreading the word! Apt. Thomas – We’ve had a fantastic 2 weeks here. We’ve enjoyed lots of bbq’s on the fantastic roof terrace – the supermarket down the hill and Mauricio’s do great handmade burgers and kebabs. We found the local shops had everything we needed so no need to go to the main supermarkets at all!. We even enjoyed the huge thunderstorm that woke us in the night! Lots of great places to eat, our favourite was a little bar called Donostiarra on C/ Major where you picked up tapas from the bar. We’ve also enjoyed many days out in Barcelona – head to Sagrada Familia layte in the day as the queues were huge at 1p.m. but much smaller when we left. The beach was the best part, we took sandwiches and bee, soft drinks and icecream from the bar. We often had sunbeds and shade which is a bit pricey but used the beach mats and umbrellas too which were very useful – the boys bought a boat that we had to take too! All in all the apartment & Sitges is a great place and we enjoyed ourselves. Julie & Yvette have been so helpful & accommodating to us but never in our way- big thanks to you both for a warm welcome! We’ve enjoyed the proximity to the Rambla as well as the serenity offered of being on a side street. A restaurant find – Imperium, on Rambla de la Pau (at end of Rambla Principal) – great food and people, reasonable prices. We found the whole town to be friendly and accommodating. We love Spain! The balcony has been great for breakfast and the roof terrace for watching the thunderstorms earlier in the week. We had a lovely meal there as the sun went down one evening. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in apartment Thomas in Sitges. Our welcome and stay was beyond our expectations and personal but never intrusive, Yvette and Julie are the perfect hosts. With two small boys we had plenty to keep us occupied with trips to the beaches and local town. Trips to Barcelona provided a welcome break from the routine as well as a couple of trips to Vilanova. Sitges is a beautiful town in a wonderful location and the apartment was all we wanted and more. The terrace was the icing on the cake and was a refuge during the boys daily siestas.

Wonderful few days in which to celebrate my 60th birthday. Thank you for the champagne! The town isn’t touristy – very interesting. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and the roof terrace is fantastic. Train to Barcelona easily achieved (although it did break down on the way home!) We hope to return and would definitely recommend to family and friends.
