Black Sheep
"Black Sheep" is our powerboat, based in Segur de Calafell just 10 minutes from Vilanova.
She is a Mariah SX18 Bowrider and has a 3.0l, 135hp, alpha one Mercruiser engine.
The boat has full insurance and we are qualified to drive powerboats following our training with the RYA in the UK.
We are not commercially qualified; therefore we do not make a profit.
We offer our guests ½ or a full day out at cost price.
This covers fuel, the use of the lifejackets and other sports equipment plus a contribution to the running costs.
Activities can include: sightseeing up and down the coast; stopping off at other marinas for lunch; anchoring and swimming in coves;
fishing; picnics on board; skiing; wakeboarding and riding the Ringo.
The only equipment required is swimming gear, suncream, hat and sunglasses.
We can provide drinks and a picnic tailored to your personal taste.
Transport to the port can be provided at additional cost or both buses and trains are available.
The day involves:
- Helping to prepare the boat.
- Full safety briefing including, driving the boat safely, use of life jackets, flares, radio, behaviour on board, signals and regulations etc.
- Possible opportunity to drive the boat under our supervision.
- Activities of your choice.
- Helping to take the boat into port.
